Mr. Howell focuses his practice on both complex business litigation, including class actions, and "business tort" actions, including unfair competition and trade secret litigation, and securities broker-dealer defense. Mr. Howell also has experience handling standard breach of contract actions and real property disputes.
Mr. Howell graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Wesleyan College, where he earned a B.A. in Philosophy. During his junior year of college, Mr. Howell studied Philosophy and Economics at Charles University and the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic. Mr. Howell earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. Before starting his law practice, Mr. Howell was a recipient of the ABOTA Fellowship awarded by the American Board of Trial Advocates.
